Santa Melendez

Santa Melendez 75, a resident of Summit Towers, entered into the arms of the Lord on Friday March 26, 2021at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

She was born on April 15, 1945 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Santos Melendez and the late Dominga Jimenez.

Santa was a member of New Beginnings Church in Schenectady.

In addition to her parents she was pre deceased by her two sons Carlos Sayan and Alejandro Melendez.

Survivors include her daughter Sonia Medina, a brother and sister Efrain Melendez and Dolores Jimenez, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 31,2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Curtis Funeral Home & Cremations Inc. 324 Hulett Street Schenectady. Calling hours will be from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the historic Vale Cemetery.

Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to masks and social distancing are required.
