Rich, my time spent with you and our deeblue crew has been a memory I'll always remember. I will miss you and our late night hockey talks. Rest well brother

Richard was one of the kindest souls that i have ever met. His laughter and his eyes will be sorely missed. I hope beyond all that you may find the peace and comfort that i know Rich would want you to have. The world is a poorer place now.

I know that there is nothing I can say right now that would ease the pain even the slightest. All I can offer is this simple reminder to hold onto the memories…your loved one may be gone, but those memories will last forever. I'm not lucky enough to meet Rich in person but Scott has always talked about him and I know that he's a wonderful big brother. I'm struck by the fact that nothing I say or write is going to change anything or make anything better. If I can make any sort of difference through my words, I hope that your family at least knows that you all are in my thoughts and prayers and please let me know if there's anything I can do. You have my family's sincere condolences, and our deepest sympathy.
