Lorraine Beth Velazquez

Our beloved mother, Lorraine Beth Velazquez (a.k.a Lori Love), age 54, passed away suddenly on Saturday July 2, 2022. She was born December 30, 1967 in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY. Lori was predeceased by her parents Marjorie Stude and Anthony Cicerani. She is survived by her husband Wilfredo Velazquez. Mother of 9 and grandmother to 19, eldest being Jennifer with her children Jaiden, Santino, Ariah, and Aaradiah, her son Miguel and his wife Yvianna with their sons Oenamaus and Nehemias, her daughter Sarena and financé Antonio, her daughter Amanda with her children Lamora, Legacy, Liberty, Lydia, and Liam, her daughter Tasha with her children Analya, Juliette, and Ezmarelda, her son Angel and his wife Kristina, her son Mathew, her son Joel with his children Azaryyah, Atréus, Namiko, and unborn son Leonidas, and her daughter Sage. She has fought a lot of battles both physically and mentally, but she’s always felt at ease when around those who loved her. With all of the pain she felt within her, she never mistreated anyone. She was full of emotions that were too much to handle for many, but to those who were there, who took the time to truly understand her personality and the mental conditions that came with it, knew that she always found a way to make those around her smile, even when she was struggling herself. If there was anything outdoors, she loved being a part of it. She was a winter baby, but she definitely was a summer body. She loved the beach, bodies of water, amusement parks, music, family and fun. She was a kid at heart. She had silver in her hair and gold in her heart. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 7, 2022 at 1 PM at Refreshing Springs Community Church 327 Georgetta Dix Plaza, schenectady New York. Pastor Arnetta Dix officiating.
