Linda Eleanor Torres

Linda Eleanor Torres 67, of Woodrow Road, entered into the arms of the Lord on July 30, 2019.

Linda was born in the Bronx, New York the daughter of the late Rafael and Elenor Hughes Torres.

She was employed as a stock person at Walmart in Amsterdam, before becoming disabled.

She was a communicant of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish (the former St. Helen’s in Schenectady).

In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by four brothers, Angelo, Francisco Dean and Edicto Torres.

Survivors include her children; Jesse Anderson, Tito, Duane, Hector, Seneca, Precious and Antoinette Torres, her siblings; Miguel, Ventura, Joanne, Lucia Torres, Martha Ortiz and German Hernandez. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 9 AM at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish( former Saint Helens Church) Union Street Schenectady, New York. A calling hour will be held from 8:00 a.m. prior to the Mass at the church. Internment It will be private.
