Johnnie Edward Watters

Johnnie Edward Watters 66, entered into the arms of the Lord on February 21, 2021 at Ellis Hospital.

He was born on October 16, 1954 in Putnam, Alabama, the son of the late Carrie Carter. He was educated in New Orleans and was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School.

Johnny was a U. S. Navy veteran serving from 1972 -1975.

Johnnie came to Schenectady in the early 1980’s.

He was self employed as a laborer.

 In addition to his mother he was predeceased  by his brother Samuel Watters, Sr. Survivors include: several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.

Graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10 AM in the Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.
