George A. Guynup

George A. Guynup  66, of Sixth Avenue, passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 11, 2023. He was born in Schenectady New York on April 13, 1957, the son of the lake Orville R. and Patricia Gordon Guynup.

George was employed as a roofer for Central Florida Roofing in Tampa, Florida. George was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of St. Josephs Church in Schenectady. In addition to his parents, George was a predeceased by a brother Richard and a sister, Lynn, 

Survivors include his son, George Guynup, Jr. Three daughters; Tiffany, Bambi, and Jamie Guynup one brother James Guynup three sisters; Carrie Wagner, Patty Pomajki and Cindy Taverna. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Curtis Funeral Home & Cremations Inc.  324 Hulett Street, Schenectady, New York 12307.
