Gaston Hooks Jr.

Hooks, Gaston Jr., born March 16th, 1956 in Albany, NY passed away unexpectedly on August 11th, 2021.

Gaston was predeceased in death by his father Donald McNeal. He is survived by his mother Estelle McNeal, brother Curtis McNeal, sister Laberta (Isadore) Washington, son Jason (Katie) Hooks, daughters Janelle Hooks, Starla Hooks and Tracy Hilbert. He leaves to morn his many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gaston was a native to Schenectady, New York, graduated from Linton High School in 1974, then went on to join the US Army. Gaston completed his basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey and Fort Benning, Georgia. He went on active duty and was stationed in Tacoma, Washington where he completed his career in the US Army with Honorable Discharged.

Gaston studied in criminal justice / law enforcement administration. He was an Entrepreneur in many professions and loved working with and training dogs.

A Committal service honoring the life of Gaston Hooks will be held in private to family and close friends.
