Anthony "Tony" Gentiluomo, 81, of Ballston Spa passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023 at his daughter's home in Florida, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 6, 1941 in Ballston Spa, the son of the late Vincenzo (Jimmy) and Madeline Christopher Gentiluomo. Tony graduated from Ballston Spa High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He and his wife Karen raised their family beginning in Clifton Park, NY before relocating for 26 years to Fort Plain, NY where he was a self-employed dairy farmer. They moved back to Ballston Spa in 2008. Tony was a kind, gentle man always extending his hand to help others. He enjoyed farming, gardening, working on machinery (cars, tractors) but time spent with his beloved wife Karen, family and friends was his first love. Tony was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Milton Grange in Baliston Spa.
In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by his wife, Karen. Survivors include his loving children; Suzanne (John) LiVoti, Janice (Larry) Brown, Christopher Gentiluomo and Edward Gentiluomo; his sisters, Mary and Jo-Ann Gentiluomo and Jean Palmo, sister-in-law Carol Stone; five grandchildren: lan Hagadorn, Gabrielle Thibodeau, Christopher and Anthony Gentiluomo, Reilly Battease and 2 great-granddaughters.
Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue,
Ballston Spa with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue Ballston, Spa.
