Amy Lynn Skidmore

Amy Lynn Skidmore, 48, of State Street, entered into eternal life on December 29, 2020 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Schenectady, New York on September 24, 1972 the daughter of Raymond Hitchcock and Debra Thompson.

She was employed as a cook at the Domestic Violence Center, YWCA in Schenectady.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her longtime companion William (Bill) Clarke, her loving daughters; Mariah, Courtney and Tia Skidmore , One brother: Daniel Hitchcock two grandchildren; Haylee Constantine and Michael Hall.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 12 to 2 PM at the Curtis Funeral Home & Cremations Inc. 324 Hulett Street, Schenectady, NY 12307.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Amy’s memory be made to Albany medical Center CancerResearch Center in care of the Albany Medical Center Hospital  43 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208.
